New Zealand in a must win match have failed to put a challenging total ahead of India. On this wicket, 244 looks like an easy target. New Zealand after winning the toss and opting to bat did not get off to a good start as again Guptill and Munro got dismissed cheaply. It again came down to Williamson but he went into his shell and eventually was dismissed of the bowling of Chahal. Taylor top scored for the Kiwis and he was bogged down by the regular loss of partners at the crease. Taylor and Latham stiched a partnership of more than 100 runs but as Latham went, Taylor was deprived of the strike. Kiwis kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Shami took the maximum number of wickets for India as he took a total of 3 wickets. Pandya also made a successful return to the pitch as he took 2 important wickets.

11:30 IST: New Zealand are bowled out at 243. The Kiwis were not able to maintain momentum throughout the innings and they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The openers for Kiwis failed again and even Williamson was not able to provide any kind of fuel into the innings as he chipped one of the bowling off Chahal. Taylor and Latham stiched together a partnership of more than 100 runs but as soon as Latham got out, Kiwis lost all kind of momentum and they were dismissed at 243. Taylor top scored for the Kiwis as he scored a knock of 93. Shami has been impressive in this series and he again took 3 wickets. Shami is looking to seal his 3rd bowler spot for the World Cup. Hardik Pandya also made an impressive return as he went on to take 2 wickets in the innings. 244 looks like an easy target for India on this wicket and they should not have any problem in getting an unbeatable lead in the 5-match series.
